Personal: Shawn's love of shooting began on duck hunts with his father when he was four. Though he's left behind his high school and college days of soccer, he still likes to go out and hunt all fowl. He earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Park College in Missouri and enlisted in the Army in 1989, when he was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit at Ft. Benning, Ga.
