Personal: Kim got her competitive start in American skeet. After winning the championship at age 13, she became captain of the All American team at 14. She enjoys public speaking, giving shooting demonstrations, skiing and hunting, and is an avid builder and restorer of cars. She is a member of the Safari Club International and a recipient of her hometown's prestigious "El Monte Title." She is currently studying to become a veterinarian.
